Swimming in a Sea of Coral

Coral seems to be the color of Spring/Summer 2010, and when it comes to universally flattering makeup hues, Coral is at the top of the list! This juicy color is the perfect compliment to bronzed skin and can instantly Summerize the fairest of fair. This season, Bobbi Brown is right on trend with her newest collection of Cabana Corals. While all of the new shades are pretty, I've put together a list of my must-haves.

This is a great sampler palette! Six gorgeous, neutral shadows that blend flawlessly with all four coral lip glosses.

Bobbi's Shimmer Brick has become legendary and Nectar is no exception! This alone is amazing as a highlighter, an eyeshadow, or a blush. My favorite way to wear Nectar Shimmer Brick is layered on top of Pot Rouge for some added luminosity!

I think this may be my favorite of the new Cabana Corals!  Calypso Coral Pot Rouge is so beautiful on everyone, and perfect for on-the-go. I like to keep one, at all times, in my makeup bag for touch ups throughout the day. Nothing wakes up a tired face better than a little color! Since it can be used for lips, or cheeks, it helps keep my bag from being weighed down with too many products. When I have a little more primping time,  I love to sculpt the cheekbones lightly with a little bronzer, and then add a pop of the Pot Rouge just on the apples of the checks for extra brightness. For added glamour, a swipe of the Nectar Shimmerbrick on top and you've got your goddess glow on!

Golden Nectar, Sunset Beach and Coral Sand Shimmer Lip Gloss $18 (each)
These glosses are stunning on their own, but try layering them on top of the Calypso Coral Pot Rouge for some extra punch.

  6. I just started working at a beauty counter in Myer (a department store), and I wanted so desperately to be assigned to Bobbi Brown! Her story is really inspiring! But I work for Clarins instead.. Which is still fun... But not as colourful :(

  7. lady luff: Clarins is a great start, and can be a stepping stone to Bobbi! I agree with you...she is very inspiring! When I first started doing makeup I wanted to work for her company. Oddly enough, I took the path that she did, by freelancing. Almost 10 years later, and I still love what I do!

  8. Seriously I think highlighter is a gift from the gods...it really makes all the difference in the world. I haven't tried this Bobby Brown version, but I might have to. Right now I am using benefit and smashbox :)
